Crime Bake 2006 Short Story Panel

Crime Bake 2006 Short Story Panel

Crime Bake 2006 has come and gone.  I had a wonderful time sitting on the Short Story panel with Stephen Rogers, Janice Law, and Mike Wiecek.  It was an honor to be asked to sit amongst such prolific and notable short story writers.  I’d like to thank Linda Landrigan of Alfred Hitchcock Magazine who did a great job as panel moderator.  I’d also like to thank all that attended the panel and those who greeted me at the end of the session with handshakes and compliments.  All in all, I think we shared an hour of clever conversation, humorous anecdotes, and an insightful Q&A.

Jumping Bail in the 2007 Sisters in Crime Calendar!

Hubbard House

The New England Sisters In Crime 2007 calendar is no longer available. The calendar was part of SinC's 20th anniversary celebration and featured local authors, members and unique locations. I can be found in July’s Jumping Bail along with Frankie Bailey, Cindy Davis, Carol Perry, Vicki Stiefel and Bill Tapply. Our month was shot on a blistering hot day at the in Hancock, NH.

All proceeds from calendar sales went to SinC educational programs. If you're a mystery writer or fan of the genre and not already a member of Sisters in Crime, maybe now's the time to join in on the fun. It’s a great organization that offers quarterly meetings, workshops, and the opportunity to network with fellow mystery enthusiasts.

Reading Widow's Peak at Water Street Bookstore

Sharon reading Widow's Peak

I enjoyed reading the beginning of my short story "Thread Count" at the Water Street Bookstore in Exeter, NH. But I must admit that I especially was thrilled to be asked to read my entire flash story, “Widow’s Peak”.

Thanks again to Water Street Bookstore for a fun evening.
